Sony has launched the largest-ever capacity Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo HX. The 32GB card stores twice as much as Sony’s previous best and is treated as a particularly ideal fit for the company’s own Alpha DSLRs and its HD camcorders. Its huge storage capacity of is ideal for handling large high definition video files as well as still images.
One single memory stick can hold 3.75 hours of high definition video with the resolution of 1920 x 1080. This memory card is useful for on-the-go storage in a compact form. It has a 20Mbps read speed and a 15Mbps write speed. These speeds allow users to quickly transfer the videos to the PC.
The Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo HX range also includes 4GB, 8GB and 16GB models. The card comes with a USB adapter to guarantee full speed and avoid draining camera batteries and easy connection to a huge range of hardware.
