Sony has announced the launch of its Vaio NW notebook in the Indian Markets. The notebook has a classy design with an all new texture, 2-tone color and touch pad. The VAIO NW series notebook is a fusion of 15.5-inch real widescreen and a reverse hinge.
Sony VAIO NW notebook uses Intel Pentium Processor T4200 (2 GHz). It comes equipped with 160 GB hard disk drive and 2GB RAM. It comes with Wireless LAN and Bluetooth for connectivity. Windows Vista Home Basic 32-bit comes pre-installed.
The multi media applications have been enhanced by using preinstalled Sony software. The Picture Motion Browser (PMB) helps viewing of pictures and videos. The VAIO Movie Story enables production of high quality movies. The VAIO MusicBox enables high end music experience.
Vaio NW is equipped with Quick Web Access function one push to launch directly into the web without having to wait for the Windows operating system to load. Display Off button conserves the power by letting the users to turn off the screen while the notebook continues to run in the background for a quick resume. Isolated keyboard provides better typing speeds with fewer typing mistakes. It has an integrated HDMI output connector and Sony’s Resolution Utility which enable the images to be displayed on a larger screen TV.
The VAIO NW will be available at Sony authorized dealers and national retail partners across the country at a price tag of Rs 37,990.
