Sony Ericsson has launched a new eco-friendly handset, the Sony Ericsson Naite, a new addition to the GreenHeart phones. The plastic housing is made from a minimum of 50% recycled plastic and has an ultra-eco charger.

The candybar Sony Ericsson Naite comes with a 2.2 inch display with 240 x 320 pixel resolution, 2 megapixel camera with video recording, 100 MB of internal memory and microSD memory card slot with support for up to 16GB of additional storage space.
The Sony Ericsson Naite also features FM Radio with RDS, Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR, GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, USB and HSPA connectivity and a 950 mAh battery which gives up to 13 hours of talk time or up to 600 hours of standby time. It measures 108 x 47 x 12.5mm and weighs 84 grams.

The Naite has quad-band GSM/EDGE and tri-band 850/1900/2100MHz 3G network. Other features of the Naite include the Google Maps, Google search, Facebook integration including the ability to upload photos and NetFront web browser.
The Sony Ericsson Naite is priced at $159 unlocked at Sony Style stores across the U.S.
