Sony Ericsson has released a new phone called the T715. The Sony Ericsson T715 is a sophisticated slider handset that features turbo 3G connection. The handset is both sleek and slim. It offers a stylish metallic finish and large slide-out keypad.
“The T715 is a sophisticated slider mobile phone that fits a busy lifestyle and is perfect for those who are looking for a phone with practical and up-to-date features” said Quentin Cordier, Marketing Business Manager at Sony Ericsson. “Building on our current 3G portfolio, the T715 allows us to bring 3G mobile phones to even more markets giving them high speed internet access wherever they are. With a premium brushed aluminium cover and glossy front, this new mobile phone demonstrates the sophisticated design language consumers have come to expect from Sony Ericsson.”
The T715 comes loaded with a 2.2-inch QVGA display, a 3.2 megapixel camera with Photo light. Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, Music player, Stereo FM radio with RDS. It has a phone memory up to 90MB with SanDisk microSD memory card storage. The T715 supports HSPA 2100 and GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 and the T715a supports HSPA 850/1900/2100 and GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900.
The T715 offers a smart desktop feature that delivers reminders of appointments, notes and special animation for reminders of global events and birthdays, and comes with Google Maps™ including local search and directions and AccuWeather. The Sony Ericsson T715 allows consumers to stay connected without any compromise on communication features or design.
The T715 still offers a large keypad and font size for SMS, MMS or email management.
The handset is 91.5×48×14.9 mm in size and weighs only 96.5 grams. It gives a Modem and the PictBridge printing facility too. It offers synchronization along with USB mass storage. It offers a talk and standby time of up to 10 hours and 400 hours respectively with GSM or GPRS and video call time up to 3 hours. The talktime and standby time with UMTS is up to 4 hours and 350 hours respectively.
The T715 will be available in selected markets in the colors Galaxy Silver and Rouge Pink in the third quarter 2009. There is no word yet about the pricing.
Along with the T715, Sony Ericsson too has unveiled the VH310, a new Bluetooth Headset. The VH310 gives you handsfree freedom with no wires, no worries and weighing only 10 grams. The headset can work on one charge with more than 20 days of life. It is made of plastic and is 48×11.5×17.4 in size and comes with 3 ear pieces and 2 removable ear hooks. It will be available in silver and black colors; the headset is compatible with majority phones from SEMC and other brands. Sony Ericsson has yet to announced a specific shipping date nor price for the VH310.
