Sony Ericsson has announced the launch another handset in the Xperia lineup, the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X8 aka the Sony Ericsson Shakira. Xperia X8 runs Android 1.6 OS and is powered by 600MHz processor.
Xperia X8 comes with a 3 inch HVGA touchscreen with resolutions of 320×480 pixels, four corner UI, 3.2 megapixel camera and 2 GB microSD card preinstalled.
Xperia X8 supports GSM GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900, UMTS HSPA 900/2100 and UMTS HSPA 800/850/1900/2100 network, timescape, Wi-Fi, stereo Bluetooth, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, Google services and Facebook interation.
Xperia X8 will be available in white, dark blue, aqua blue, pink and silver colors in the third quarter of this year.
