Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 launched in India

Sony Ericsson has launched a new Android smartphone Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 in India. SE Xperia X8 is powered by Android 1.6 operating system.

SE Xperia X8 features a 3 inch HVGA touchscreen display with resolutions of 320×480 pixels, four corner UI, 3.2 megapixel camera, expandable memory of upto 16GB. Xperia X8 supports GSM GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900, UMTS HSPA 900/2100 and UMTS HSPA 800/850/1900/2100 network.

SE Xperia X8 also features FM Radio with RDS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, Google services, music player, webkit browser, and Facebook, Twitter and timescape integration.

SE has not announced the availability and price of the handset.
