RIM has announced the launch of its new smartphone namely BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 in US market. BlackBerry Curve 3G runs BlackBerry 5 operating system which will get an upgrade to the new BlackBerry 6 operating system in coming months.

The BlackBerry Curve 3G features a 2.4 inch TFT display with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels, QWERTY keyboard, optical trackpad, 2 Megapixel Camera, dedicated media keys, 256 MB flash memory, 256 MB RAM and microSD/SDHC slot that supports up to 32 GB.
The BlackBerry Curve 3G supports high-speed 3G (HSDPA) network, GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity, built-in GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth v2.1 + EDR, 3.5mm stereo headset, media player, social networking integration, Blackberry messenger and instant messaging . It measures 109x 60x 13.9 mm and weighs 104 grams and is powered by 1150mAHr battery for up to 4.5 hours of talktime or 19 days of stand by time.
