T-Mobile USA has launched the Nokia 5130 XpressMusic mobile phone, a low-cost music phone with dedicated music keys, stereo Bluetooth and an FM radio. The 5130 offers a candy bar design and functional features.
The 2-inch display supports 256,000 colors and a 320×240 pixel resolution. The features of the phone includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack, support for instant messaging and e-mail, as well as video messaging capabilities, WAP browser, speakerphone and support for T-Mobile’s MyFaves service.
Other features include a microSD memory card slot for additional storage space, as well as an 860 mAh Li-Ion battery with six hours of talktime and 12 days of standby. The Nokia 5130 XpressMusic measures 1.8 x 4.1 x 0.4 inches and weighs 3.0 oz. The handset comes in two colors, Black Red and Pearl White Aqua.
The Nokia 5130 supports email and instant messaging and photo sharing through Share on Ovi and Mail on Ovi email services. The handset is a quad-band (GSM 850/900/1800/1900; EDGE) world phone. The Nokia 5130 is driven by Series 40 operating system.
The Nokia 5130 XpressMusic can be purchased from select T-Mobile retail stores and from T-Mobile’s official website for $29.99 after $20 mail-in rebate and two year contract.
