Toshiba has officially launched a new Android Tablet dubbed as the Toshiba Folio 100 tablet. Toshiba Folio 100 runs Android 2.2 OS and is powered by the NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor.

Toshiba Folio 100 features a 10.1 inch capacitive touchscreen display with 1024 x 600 pixels resolution and multitouch support, 1.3 megapixel webcam and 16 GB of onboard memory. Toshiba Folio 100 comes preloaded with Opera Mobile, Toshiba Media Player, FBReader, Fring, Document to Go, Evernote and Abode Flash Player 10.1.
Toshiba Folio 100 also Bluetooth 2.1 +EDR, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Mobile Broadband, DLNA, HDMI, USB, SD/MMC Card Reader, microphone, speakers, audio jack, accelerometers and 1020 mAh battery. It measures 281x 181x 14mm and weighs 760 grams. It lacks GPS and Android market access.
Toshiba Folio 100 will be available in the in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa from October 2010 and is priced at 329 pounds.
