Toshiba has also announced the launch of Toshiba Qosmio X500 a mobile workstation for engineers, designers, and content creators. The Qosmio X500 has an 18.4-inch TFT LCD display. The Qosmio X500 features an Intel Core i7-720QM quad-core processor with Turbo Boost Technology, NVIDIA GeForce GTS 360M graphics with 1GB GDDR5 graphics memory. The Qosmio X500 runs Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit). The notebook can have up to 4GB of DDR3 memory at 1066MHz and has 500GB, 7200 RPM hard drive.

The Qosmio X500 also features a web cam, HDMI port with HD support display, an eSATA/USB combo port for high-speed data transfers, S/P DIF and a Blu-ray disc drive Wi-Fi(802.11b/g/n) and Bluetooth V2.1 + EDR. It comes with 12 cell battery that gives a battery life of up to 3.3 hours. It comes in “Omega Black” with red chrome accents and comes pre-installed with the Toshiba ReelTime and Bulletin Board applications.
The Qosmio X500 has a starting price of $1,549.
