Toshiba began shipping their premium Regza HDTVs, which were initially shown off at CES earlier this year. These include Regza SV670, Regza ZV650, Regza XV648. The LED set features new tech from Toshiba including FocaLight LED backlight with local dimming, ClearScan 240 motion enhancement, and PixelPure5G 14-bit video processing.
The connectivity options include USB port, SD card Slot, 4 HDMI inputs with InstaPort and Regza-LINK, IR Pass-Through Port and PC input. Toshiba also brings in amazing sound quality with new Dolby Volume sound leveling and Audyssey EQ.
The Regza SV670 features an LED backlight that offers local dimming support on individual areas of the screen, alongside other features such as 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio, a 240Hz panel and 14-bit internal color processing among others. The SV670 will be available in sizes 46-inch and 55-inch, that retail for $2,300 and $3,000, respectively.
The Regza ZV650 is a fusion of fast-motion picture quality, next-generation connectivity and unique cosmetic design. With Toshiba’s ClearScan 240 technology, this LCD TV provides 120 frames per second with advanced Backlight Scanning Technology which results into a 240Hz effect. This technology ensures better picture clarity with fast-motion video. It also helps the series attain a high 100,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. The ZV650 comes integrated with USB port, SD card slot, four HDMI Inputs with InstaPort, Regza-LINK for two-way device control and IR Pass-Through Port. The 42-inch, 47-inch and 55-inch ones are priced at $1,299.99, $1,699.99 and $2,399.99 respectively. The Regza ZV650 LCD TVs will be available this month.
The Regza XV648 is latest addition to the Regza lineup incorporates the CrystalCoat technology that helps avoid ambient room light reflections on the TV screen. It also ensures 30 percent better contrast in brighter rooms and is available in 40-inch, 46-inch and 52-inch screen sizes. The Dolby Volume technology provides consistent volume level while users change channels or even during commercials. Thus, it brings a home theatre experience with advanced picture and sound quality. The XV648 will be available in sizes 40-inch, 46-inch and 52-inch are priced at $1,099.99, $1,499.99 and $1,999.99, respectively. These LCD TVs will be available in August.
