Toshiba has announced the launch of Tecra A11 laptop, A11 which is aimed at small to mid-sized businesses users. The Tecra A11 packs a bright LED backlit 15.6-inch diagonal high definition widescreen display. The Tecra A11 features an Intel Core i3 processor or Core i5 processors and integrated graphics, up to 3GB of DDR3memory at 166MHz and up to a 320GB of hard drive space and a DVD-SuperMulti drive.
It comes with pre installed with Windows XP or with Recovery Media for Genuine Windows 7 Professional and includes a 10-key numeric keypad. It comes with Intel Graphics Media Accelerator HD, but can feature upgrades such as an NVIDIA GeForce 512MB graphics card.
Other notable features of the Tecra A11 include Webcam and microphone built into LCD bezel, Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n), Bluetooth V2.1 + EDR, Modem, Intel 82577LC Gigabit Network Connection, 3-USB (2.0), 1-eSATA/USB (2.0) combo port and 1-ExpressCard Slot and EasyGuard technology, for protection against bumps and spill. It comes with 6 cell battery that provides Up to 4.66 hours of battery life. The A11 is 1.3 inches thick and weighs 5.63 pounds.
The Tecra A11 comes with a three-year standard limited warranty and starts at an affordable price of $879.
