Transcend has announced the release of its Extreme Plus 600X Compact Flash cards with Turbo MLC technology in the Indian market. This flash card is made keeping in mind professional photographers and enthusiasts who use digital single lens reflex (DSLR) cameras and require high speed flash cards.
Transcend’s 600X CF card is manufactured using advanced flash controllers and premium quality NAND flash memory chips. Equipped with ECC (Error Correction Code), the card automatically senses and corrects errors while transferring data and also utilizes wear-leveling algorithm for consistent long-life operation.
With its UDMA interface, Transcend’s 600X CF cards can store extremely high-resolution image data. These new 600X CF cards offer transfer speeds of up to 92MB/s read and 87MB/s write. In comparison with 300X CF cards, this new version offers nearly double the read write speeds for unparalleled file transfer performance which is useful to store high-resolution images, and record videos continuously. The device measures 42.8mm x 36.4mm x 3.3mm and weighs around 11.4 grams.
This new 600X CF card is available in 8GB and 16GB capacities, priced at an MRP of Rupees 8,000 and 16,000 respectively. The Extreme Plus 600X CompactFlash cards carry a two-year warranty.
