Vodafone 845 Android smartphone officially announced

Vodafone has officially announced the Android smartphone dubbed as the Vodafone 845. The Vodafone 845 supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE 900/1800/1900 MHz and UMTS/HSDPA 900/2100 MHz network. The Vodafone 845 smartphone runs on Android 2.1 (Eclair) platform.

The Vodafone 845 comes with a 2.8 inch QVGA touchscreen display with 320×240 pixels resolutions, QWERTY keyboard, 3.2 megapixel camera, 500MB of internal memory and a memory card slot. The Vodafone 845 also features WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS connectivity, support for Vodafone 360 services and Google services. Its dimensions are 100×55×13 mm.

The Vodafone 845 will be available starting next month in 12 Vodafone markets (including the UK). The Vodafone 845 is priced at €150 free of contract.
