Vodafone is launching the HTC Tattoo mobile phone next month. The handset will be categorized as an entry-level smartphone and will run on Google’s Android operating system, which allows owners of Android-based mobile phones to access thousands of applications downloadable from the Android market.
The HTC Tattoo, available exclusively in black on Vodafone features HTC’s Sense UI. The phone comes with Google applications, such as Facebook and GoogleMaps, pre-installed. This 3G enabled phone supports GSM 850/900/1800/1900 as well as HSDPA.
Some other features include a 2.8-inch touchscreen display Bluetooth, WiFi, 3.2-megapixel fixed-focus camera, 3.5mm headphone jack, 512MB internal memory expandable to 32GB via a microSD slot,and USB 2.0 connectivity and measures 106 x 55.2 x 14mm with a weight of 108 grams.
The HTC Tattoo is available to pre-order now on Vodafone’s website. Unfortunately there is still no word on pricing of the handset,
